The Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Moscow Region will be named after Vladislav Krasnopolsky. He gave his whole life to the institute.

Vladislav Krasnopolsky is a Soviet and Russian scientist, surgeon, gynecologist, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He worked at MONIIAG since 1961, moving from a graduate student to the head of a gynecological clinic (since 1973). Since 1985 – director, since 2017 – president of the institute. He died in June 2022 at the age of 84.
Located in Moscow, MONIIAG traces its history back to 1868, when the daughter of the guard captain Elizaveta Milyukova founded a hospital in memory of her uncle, State Councilor Sergei Lepekhin, having bought for this purpose a house in Tupoy Lane (later Lepekhinsky Dead End).
