A supplier of medical equipment in the Novosibirsk region was fined almost 13 million rubles for failure to meet delivery deadlines. Hospitals were supposed to receive X-ray machines as part of a national project.

The supplier of medical equipment to the Bagan Central District Hospital in the Novosibirsk Region was fined 12.8 million rubles. for failure to comply with the terms of the contract, the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office reported.

It was found that as part of the implementation of the national project “Healthcare” between the Bagan Central District Hospital and LLC “Trading House Synergy” A government contract was concluded for the supply of medical equipment for radiography. The equipment was not delivered to the hospital within the time period stipulated by the contract. As a result, a case was initiated under Part 7 of Article 7.32 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (failure to fulfill obligations under the contract), and based on the results of its consideration, the company was fined. It is noted that after this, X-ray equipment was still installed in the hospital.

The prosecutor’s office has increasingly begun to punish contractors under government contracts for failing to meet deadlines for the construction of hospitals or the supply of medical equipment.
