The business program of the congress reflects the most striking achievements of the country’s healthcare in recent years. The discussion is planned with the participation of leaders from other industries. Leading experts will speak in discussions on the development of healthcare, improving the quality and life expectancy of citizens, and the introduction of medical innovations.
The content of the business program sessions meets the current agenda in the field of sustainable development of the healthcare system, its adaptation to new challenges, and the role of healthcare as a strategic resource for the economic growth of the state. The two-day congress program includes more than 30 events in different formats. Among the participants in the expert discussions are heads of government agencies, major research centers, institutions and companies in the field of healthcare, medical and related technologies, and representatives of patient organizations. Foreign experts in various fields of healthcare will take part in the congress.
Among the topics of the announced sessions: state support and implementation of innovative developments in medicine, digitalization of healthcare, popularization of a healthy lifestyle, development of domestic production of blood products and vital medicines, infectious safety of the country. As part of the business program, experts will also discuss issues of training medical personnel, financial sustainability of the healthcare system, progress in the fight against non-communicable diseases and other topics.
Two sessions will be devoted to discussing the “Moscow standard” in healthcare. Thematic sessions are planned: “Medicine and Quality,” co-organized by Roszdravnadzor, and “Organization of a long-term care system,” co-organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection. The special session “Organization of domestic production of blood products as a contribution to ensuring the security of the national healthcare system” was organized jointly with the Federal Medical and Biological Agency.
On the pre-congress day, excursions are planned for participants to advanced federal centers and research institutes, including the National Medical Research Center of Surgery named after. A.V. Vishnevsky, Moscow Research Oncology Institute named after. P.A. Herzen, and to leading medical institutions in Moscow, including the Ambulance and Emergency Medical Care Station named after. A.S. Puchkova.
The congress will end with a lecture by the Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko “Development of healthcare in the Russian Federation: it was, it was, it will be.”
