The Russian government allocated 1.2 billion rubles. to complete the construction of a republican oncology clinic in Yakutia. The decision was made at a cabinet meeting on November 20.
The press service statement notes that the medical facility in Yakutsk, construction of which began in 2019, is at a high level of readiness. It is planned to be put into operation by the end of 2023.
The Yakut Republican Oncology Center with a radiology department includes a polyclinic for 200 visits per shift and a hospital for 180 patients. The total area of the facility exceeds 26 thousand m2.
The construction was included in the list of large projects for the construction and reconstruction of which the government allocated almost 40 billion rubles at the end of last year. Initially, 6 billion rubles were required for the implementation of the project, later the declared amount increased to 7.5 billion rubles. In August 2022, 542 million rubles were already allocated from the federal budget for the completion of the facility.
