The territorial compulsory medical insurance fund of the Oryol region has lost its director. Roman Fedyakov, who headed it since 2017, left his position after criticism of the governor.
Director of the Territorial Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund (TFOMS) of the Oryol region Roman Fedyakov left his post. He resigned of his own free will on November 22, Oryol News reported.
In mid-November, Fedyakov was criticized by the governor Andrey Klychkov at a staff meeting discussing the issue of large accounts payable of medical institutions. The head of the region said that he saw the head of the TFOMS for the second time in a year. Previously, Oryol deputies pointed out problems in financing health care institutions in the region.
Roman Fedyakov has headed the TFOMS since 2017. It is not yet known who will take his position.
