The Ministry of Health proposed more than 20 indicators to assess the effectiveness of inspections of disinfectants » Medvestnik

The Ministry of Health plans to monitor the effectiveness of inspections by Rospotrebnadzor of companies that provide disinfection, disinsection and deratization services. This activity will become licensed again in 2024.

Rospotrebnadzor will immediately receive several dozen indicative indicators for conducting federal state licensing control over the activities of disinfection, disinsection and deratization services. The draft order of the Ministry of Health on their approval was published on November 29 on the portal regulation.gov.ru.

There are 23 positions in the proposed list. Basically, the number of various inspections and preventive visits carried out during the reporting period will be taken into account; amount of fines, number of complaints and claims.

These indicators will be used to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of Rospotrebnadzor. ‎It is planned to monitor the problems that arise during its implementation and the labor, material and financial resources expended.

Companies providing services in the field of disinfection, disinfestation and deratization, excluded by the Ministry of Health in June 2021 from the Regulations on licensing of medical activities, will again have to obtain licenses before September 1, 2024. The initiative came from Rospotrebnadzor, according to which the number of complaints about poor-quality services of disinfectants has increased over the past three years by almost 1.5 times and continues to grow, MV reported. The applicant will have to confirm the availability of knowledge and qualifications, premises, equipment, facilities and production control system necessary for high-quality and safe work.
