The head of the Department of Health of the Oryol region resigned after less than three months of work. The press service claims that Dmitry Pukh resigned from his position “of his own free will.”
Dmitry Pooh resigned from the post of head of the Department of Health of the Oryol region, the Oreltimes portal reported. Later, the information was confirmed by the department’s press service, clarifying that Pooh left his position on January 8 “of his own free will.”
As acting heads the department Vladimir Nikolaev, nothing is known yet about new appointments.
Dmitry Pukh was appointed to the position of head of the Oryol Department of Health in October 2023. Before that, he worked for several months as deputy head of the department. Pooh came to Orel in February 2023 from the Arkhangelsk region at the invitation of the ex-head of the Department of Health Igor Petchin. He lasted less than three months as head of the department.
In 2023, the heads of health authorities were replaced in 21 regions of Russia. At the end of 2023, the Central Research Institute for Organization and Informatization of Health noted that on average, regional ministers hold office for less than three years.
In recent months, there have been numerous resignations in regional ministries of health, MV reported: in particular, the heads of the ministries of health of the Omsk Region, Vladimir Region, Primorsky Territory, Chechnya, Udmurtia, Nizhny Novgorod Region, Stavropol Territory have been replaced, and the departure of the Minister of Health of the Krasnoyarsk Territory is being discussed.
